Hotel Kaerntnerhof - Mallnitz

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Mallnitz. The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. They not only assisted with dinner reservations and laundry but also provided detailed directions for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms were simple yet clean and neat, with the added bonus of a large balcony that offered breathtaking panoramic views. Additionally, the complimentary use of the sauna was a wonderful perk. The hotel's attention to detail and the warm, friendly service truly made my stay memorable.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

This hotel is located close to the bus station which offers convenient transportation around the area. the staff are friendly and provide helpful recommendations. the breakfast is tasty and the rooms are clean and spacious, with some offering beautiful mountain views. Some rooms also have a kitchenette and reliable Wi-Fi. the hotel provides access to a sauna and storage for bicycles.

One negative aspect is that some rooms facing the main road can be noisy with open windows, but soundproof windows can solve this issue.

Great location! The view of the snowy mountains was amazing! The Christmas lights around the town were beautiful and created a great atmosphere. The breakfast was also nice, with a good variety of pastries and jams to choose from.

The room was quite small and uncomfortable. The bed was too hard and the pillows too flat.

The breakfast was decent, and the rooms were clean and tidy. The location couldn't have been better as there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Also, the hotel staff was accommodating when we asked for extra towels.

We had a terrible stay. The air conditioning didn't work well, and it was very hot and stuffy in the room. The beds were uncomfortable and the noise from outside was incredibly disruptive. To make matters worse, the staff didn't seem to care about our complaints. it was a disappointing experience.

They gave me excellent recommendations for things to do in the area, and even drove after me when I accidentally left my AirPods in the room. The rooms were simple but clean and tidy, and I loved having access to the sauna free of charge. the breakfast spread was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from.
